WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT OUR STONE AND AGGREGATE MATERIALS

Stone, gravel, and sand are sold by the cubic yard. Large rocks and boulders are sold individually and also available palletized. All materials are available for pick up or delivery.

SAND

 Mason Sand is ideal for mixing mortar. With no rocks, this sand is also commonly used as a base for above-ground pools.

Fill Sand, which we often refer to as “Perry Sand,” is locally sourced. This sand is commonly purchased to mix with clay soil to improve drainage, blended for raised bed gardens, above ground pools, and also used for fill.

#8 Limestone (White)

1/8 to 1/4 Inch in Size 

#8 Limestone is used as a top dressing for driveways 

#411 Limestone (White)

1/4 to 3/4 Inch in Size 

#411 Limestone is a mix of fine to medium-sized gravel, which is perfect for driveways due to its ability to pack well and stay in place. 

#57 Limestone (White)

3/4 to 1 Inch in Size 

#57 Limestone is also common for driveways, though it does not pack as well as #411. #57 Limestone is also used as a decorative gravel for any landscape. 

#8 Wash Pea Gravel (Brown)

1/8 to 1/4 Inch in Size 

#8 Wash Gravel is commonly referred to as "Pea Gravel," which is used as decorative stone. The small size and rounded edges make this stone ideal for pathways. 

#3 Wash Gravel (Brown)

1 to 2 ½ Inch in Size

#3 Wash gravel is used as decorative landscape material, common in landscape beds, with predominately brown hues. It may also be utilized with drainage.

#57 Wash Gravel (Brown)

3/4 to 1 Inch in Size 

#57 is primarily used for drainage: French drains, leach lines, yard drainage, and basement backfill.

Also used as decorative stone and landscape beds, with its lovely neutral-brown hues.

#4 Blue Stone

1 to 2 ½ Inch in Size

#4 Bluestone, with blue-gray hues, is a decorative landscape material.

#57 Blue Stone

3/4 to 1 inch in size.

#57 is also a decorative gravel used in landscape beds in hues of blue gray.

PAVER BASE SCREENINGS

Paver base screenings are primarily used under patio paver stones.

After the #304 limestone base is installed, top it with the paver base screenings.

The screenings are easy to level and compact very well. Once in place, simply add your patio pavers!

#304 Limestone is a common base material for installing new driveways, sidewalks, and patios.
